The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God—supernaturally inspired, inerrant in its original manuscripts, and preserved by God through verbal, plenary inspiration. It stands as the divinely authoritative standard for all ages and every aspect of life.
The Godhead
We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God.
Creation
We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine command.
Salvation Through Christ
We believe that God, by His sovereign choice and out of love for men, sent Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners.
The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. That He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life; that He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day.
Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers, and from whence He is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth to set up His millennial kingdom.
The Atonement
We believe that in His death and by His shed blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin and redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Men are saved and justified on this simple and single foundation.
Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation brings forgiveness of sins, a new nature, and the hope of eternal life. It is wholly a work of God’s grace, independent of human effort, good works, baptism, or church membership.
Eternal Security
We believe that a true believer is eternally secure, that he cannot lose his salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of his heavenly Father. We believe that all who receive Christ become joint heirs with Him, and at death, their spirits depart to be with Christ in conscious blessedness.
We believe that at rapture, their bodies will be raised to the likeness of the body of His glory and dwell forever in divine presence.
Spiritual Growth and Discipleship
We believe that it should be the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit, who indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation. Believers must seek the fullness of the Spirit since it is His influence that will bring about victorious Christian living on earth.
The Local Church
We believe that every true Christian is to be a dynamic part of a local church since this is God’s primary context for spiritual development and community impact.
The Five-Fold Ministry
We believe in the five-fold ministry, which includes apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. These roles are given to equip the body of Christ, build up the church, and advance the Kingdom of God.
